Employment Support

Hands of Hope Services, Inc. will provide Employment Services to individuals who have been found eligible for long-term support by virtue of their support needs. Hands of Hope Services, Inc. shall provide the individual with a variety of flexible supports to assist them in identifying career and employment interests, find and maintain a job. HOHS’ employment services shall include the development of community-based employment, supplemental training, and long-term job site supports. Job site training will be in addition to the training the employer naturally provides.

Hands of Hope Services will deliver the following services to individuals in its Employment program:


Individualized job development and placement (within 30 days)
On-the-job training in work and work-related skills;
Facilitation of natural supports in the workplace;
Prepare individual for Job Search (within 30 days)
Obtain a Job (within 90 days)
Training in related skills needed to obtain and retain employment such as using community resources and public transportation;
Ongoing support and monitoring of individual’s performance on the job;
Negotiation with prospective employers;
Retain Employment for at least 180 days
Achieve Customized Plan Goals
Self-employment supports
Community Skill Development
